"This is MY EXPERIENCE... We joined Albemarle in November 2018. My husband, liked to pay in person, and he decided to pay here in Albemarle, NC, with Tim Ring. When he got sick, I had to take over all the house payments. 10/2023 And the first thing I saw was that I was paying $950 for personal property coverage, extra home insurance, plus almost $700 for minimum coverage for two cars, a 2005 and a 2014, in my husband's and my name. It was very difficult to cancel all of that with Tim Ring, things we didn't need. My husband had to do it. He was undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. I went to him, and the secretary told me it was canceled. The bills kept coming, and I went to the secretary. The secretary told me it was illegal to remove him from the policy, that I couldn't do it. Haha 🤑🤑 I had to go to the DMV and show them my car license plate and my new insurance so they could see I didn't need it. And today, a year later, I get a bill for $55.76. What a bad experience with the Albemarle NC office."

When anyone request to cancel an auto policy, we ask if they have started coverage with another company or if they have surrendered the tags. This question is to help you prevent a penalty fine from the DMV for a lapse of insurance. We do not require proof but again, we ask this for your benefit. As far as removing Ari from the policy, we were unable to remove him because he is the owner of the vehicles, and the owner must be listed on the policy. The bill you received for $55.76 was not for your auto insurance policy. That is the amount owed for coverage on a rental house policy. We tried calling you to discuss your concerns. Please give our office a call, we will be happy to discuss all these matters with you. "

"I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service I received from Jessica at State Farm. Even though we had switched to another insurance provider years ago and have since moved away, she went above and beyond to assist me recently with an issue related to an out-of-state DMV. I was honestly amazed—not only did Jessica respond promptly, but she treated me with the same care and professionalism you'd expect from someone still managing your account. It really speaks volumes about her character and dedication to helping people, regardless of whether they're current clients. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely helpful these days, and this experience reminded me why I chose Jessica as my agent in the first place.
